The final judgement in the Supreme Court was declared on 9 November 2019. The Supreme Court ordered the land to be handed over to a trust to build the Hindu temple. It also ordered the government to give an alternate 5 acres of land to the Sunni Waqf Board for the purpose of building a mosque.
The Ram Mandir Trust decided to keep Bhumi Pujan on 5 August 2020 on same date a year back when article 370 was repealed and autonomy along with special status has been taken away.
Since, the judgement was given for construction of Ram Temple, then who were the people opposed the Bhumi Pujan and inauguration of Ram temple construction by prime minister Shri Narendra Modi?

No, PM Modi, 5 August 2020 cannot be bracketed with 15 August 1947. It stands in brazen contrast to and negation of August 15. 5 August 2020 flows from and can only be bracketed with 6 December 1992 which the Supreme Court in 1994 had characterised as an act of ‘national shame’!
